Dr Fauci's job is to communicate the scientific consensus to the public so that the public can make rational decisions about how to manage their health. There is no single human "representative of science". The reason many medications are expensive is because they are tested to insure they are effective against the problems they supposedly help. We do this so that the public is less likely to drink fish tank clearer or take ivermectin at dosages for horses that can be fatal. The media has it's issues but to think that InfoWars is in anyway a reliable source of information is insane. A possible way forward for you is to look at the reports over time and see if they generally get it right. If you look at the InfoWar's track record for example they never get anything right. Maybe you should stop over generalizing and realize that just because someone is a PhD they are not necessarily part of a conspiracy.
